the magazine here is 'Total Film'. as you can see the main movie which is being reviewed is 'Shutter Island' and its picture is taking up the whole of the magazine cover. the main colour scheme being used in the image is blue, therefore everything else is in a big red font or red boxes. still though the main USP is the image stating that this is a special image on 'Shutter Island'.
the image continues to go over the masterhead of the magazine but not over the other contents which are in the magazine. this shows us that the magazine still wants to show off what else it has inside of the magazine.
